Thank you for booking a College Planning Package.
I look forward to our upcoming zoom session. My goal during our meeting is to get you organized, bring down any fear/stress, and begin brainstorming ways to strengthen your application.

We will be going over the following information in our 90 minute meeting:
  • General college application tasks and timeline

  • Extra-curricular activities as they relate to a "personal theme" on your application, plus some looking ahead to summer plans

  • Brainstorming college essay topics

  • Letters of recommendation, if relevant

We *won't* be covering:
  • College list development

  • Admission requirements

  • Evaluating strength of academic record or chance of admission

To prepare for our meeting, the following information would be helpful (but not necessary):
]
  1. College list: Where will you be applying?

  2. A list of college essay prompts, as determined by the college list. You can typically find these posted on a school's admission page, even this early --- they will most likely remain the same for the following year, but make sure to check again in late summer to ensure they haven't changed.

  3. A list of any and all activities, awards you've participated in. Do not hold back --- list it all! (even seemingly small things like dog sitting for your neighbor one time)

Finally, access to my academic resume and activities guide will be emailed at the time of our session since I would like a little time to review both documents with you. Access to my comprehensive College Essay Lab will be sent on June 1, 2024 when its updated version becomes available.
